Accountant AR/GL

Responsible for ensuring a timely, effective processing of accounting operations and tasks due to procedures of the enterprise, taking part in preparing of corporate, statutory and tax reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive, validate, scan, archive primary accounting documents, control accuracy of incoming accounting documentation 
• Process payments, including matching invoices with payments.
• Eliminate barriers to payment through internal- and external communication
• Receive, check, book, archive the primary documents related to Fixed Assets  
• Coordinate the Fixed Assets tasks (acquisition, write off, disposal), taking part in FA checking. 
• Receive, check, validate, scan, book, archive the write-off, inbound; re-sort acts for wastes, scrap. Taking part in inventory counting, including preparing primary documents (such as check-lists, comparison lists, acts of write-off or incoming ets.)
Monthly verification of the stock ledger with accounts, transitory accounts alignment. 
• Monthly verification of FA ledger.
• Verify bank reconciliations.
• Manage Period End Closing routines 
• Provide relevant management information
• Taking part in preparing and providing statutory, financial and tax reporting in accordance with Ukrainian law and international standards
• Ensure that all processes/activities are mapped/described in Desk Top Procedures

Additional responsibilities outside of standard job responsibilities:

• Actively support in the execution of accounting tasks if required
• Continuous improvement of the processes and work efficiency  
• Participate in the develop IT system for accounting needs in cooperation with controlling and IT
• Provide proposal for optimization of accounting processes
• Provide skills transfer to GSSC and GSSO Team

Competencies needed:


• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance, relevant professional qualification
• min 1-2 years working experience in accounting ( AP/AR/GL, tax accounting ets)
