Data Engineer

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer. You will have responsibility for data management and advanced analytics projects, taking ownership for the architectural aspects as well as a strong focus on data quality and validation. You will also continuously find better and more efficient ways of working to support, develop, and grow the use of existing and new initiatives. 

You will run and manage different solutions to enable faster, better-informed business decisions across Electrolux.

In our company, you will work closely with different functions across the organization (Sales, Marketing, Product, Quality, R&D as well as Finance) as well as with external partners globally to ensure data processes run smoothly and users get the best value from the tools and solutions delivered


You will:
• Develop, manage, and continuously optimize data management systems, using advanced analytics tools and models
• Redesign existing data management processes to upgrade to newer technologies and usabilities
• Be a champion within the business regarding the usage of the data, providing guidance and transparency to way metrics, KPIs and metadata is used
• Utilize algorithms and advanced techniques to facilitate creating analyses, deep-dives, and insights to support the strategic and tactical implementation of commercial initiatives across the organization
• Present and communicate data and insights to key decision makers and stakeholders
• Partner with developers and data scientist to ensure efficient and secure data handling


• Curious. You are always interested in what other departments are up to and have a good idea of what is happening
• A people person. You thrive in large, diverse groups and get a kick out of meeting new people.
• Team player. Cross-functional collaboration is everything; you love to work in groups as well as on your own.


• Advanced SQL and other programming languages, such as Python, R and SQL modeling
• Good knowledge of advanced visualization tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, but also a power user of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience building automatic data validation systems and processes
• Knowledge of SAS Analytics Tools such as Data Integration studio is a merit
• Experience managing large and unstructured databases is essential
