Drive innovation within Dish Care focusing on future Customers’ needs

We are looking for a Dish Care Architectures Fluid Dynamics Expert to join our Advanced Product Development team within R&D Department.

A regular day at work

Your primary, everyday objective will be to develop new architectures to match the Consumer Benefits as defined by Product Board. Leading or being part of the project team, you will apply your hydraulics and fluid-dynamics expertise in developing new technologies and new design methodologies within Dish Care applying both consolidated and new simulation technologies.

You will

• Link fluid-dynamics theoretical knowledge and product functionality, working with internal and external technical partners in order to implement new and even more robust design strategies supporting product development workflows: no direct involvement in setting up and operating CFD models is required.
• Act as system integrator of architectures, technologies and technology modules developed in APD and guarantee standardization, ensure proper interfaces with the existing architectures and modules
• Interact with experts in different scientific fields and working in different areas e.g. electronics, chemistry, materials, industrial design, marketing
• Contribute to the definition of APD Technology Roadmap and the links with Regional Gen Plans with specific reference to simulation methodologies and in close collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Create strong relationship with all functions in the Organization to enhance the delivery of global targets

You

• Adaptable - With a number of projects running simultaneously, flexibility and agility are essential.
• Problem-solving - You see the challenge as the opportunity.
• Good listener and communicator. You will become the spider in the web and work with other Electrolux departments on a daily basis – therefore these attributes are keys for making projects run smoothly.
Education and Experience
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields. A Ph.D. is considered a plus
• 2 to 4 years of experience in an R&D environment in Dish Care Appliances as well as experience in leading projects and being part of project teams will be a significant asset
• Qualified engineer experience with deep knowledge of fluid dynamics for hydraulics application
• Previous experience with main commercial CFD codes (STAR-CCM+, Fluent, Ansys CFX, etc…) is required
• Knowledge of 3D Design (CATIA is a merit)
