GL Senior Clerk with English


• Performing financial activities
• Participation in GSSC continuous improvement initiatives
• Delivering high levels of customer service
• Ensuring own work adheres to Electrolux policies and procedures
• Working with own team and/or with other process teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Key Operational Responsibilities:

• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Inventory Accounting
• Perform Sub-system Reconciliation
• Manage Interfaces, Exceptions and Errors
• Perform  Accounts Reconciliation
• Process of Month End accruals and Journal Entries
• Perform Cost Allocations
• Perform other Period End Closing activities
• Prepare Closing Deliverables & Reporting
• Be effectively involved in the Internal/External audit sessions
• Collating and inputting data with high level of accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements
• Conduct successful knowledge transfer within the GL area
• Perform other GL duties
• Prepare process maps and desktop procedures
• Establish very good relationship with the client
• Ensuring that all relevant Electrolux and GSS standards and guidelines are met,
• Communication with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner

Additional responsibilities outside of standard job responsibilities:

• Supporting, if required, other process areas e.g. during peak periods of work
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the GL process area and GSS as a whole
• Actively undertaking activities to increase own competency portfolio
• Working as a member of the team, participating fully in team activities, taking responsibility for team goals and coaching and supporting other members of the team to increase their competencies and skills

Competences needed:

Education :
• University degree in finance, accounting or related

Technical Skills:
• MS Office, Excel, SAP knowledge will be a strong plus

Preferred Career Experience:
• Experience in customer service
• Min 1 year of working experience in finance and accounting activities(accounting transactional processes desirable), • Competent and experienced in GL activities
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, activities and processes
• Awareness of internal and external business environment
• Good understanding of the relevant regional accounting practices and the regulatory environment
