Head of Sector Accounting & Internal Control

We are now looking for a Head of Accounting & Internal Control to our largest business sector Major Appliances EMEA. You will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and report to the CFO of Major Appliances EMEA. 

Typical day at work:

You will drive the leadership on all accounting matters in Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA and give the strategic direction to the evolution of the function and organization. You will be functionally responsible for driving Internal Control and be responsible for two reporting units in the business sector. You will have full profit and loss and balance sheet responsibility for actuals, forecast and budget reporting for these reporting units. Furthermore, you will be driving continuous improvement of financial, accounting and reporting processes and you will be the guardian of the transfer pricing policy in Major Appliances EMEA in close connection with our global tax function.

Part of your role will be to closely collaborate and align with several functions, specifically Sector Controlling & Business planning and Group Accounting. You will also make sure that all the sector flows are VAT compliant and lead projects to comply with new regulations such as SAFT-T, Split VAT payments etc. Part of your role is also to provide strategic guidance and leadership on different projects on new products flows or new business schemes set-ups.

You manage and develop a team involved in finance and accounting, European VAT and IT systems. In addition, you provide leadership to an internal control team of three people located in Krakow, Poland. 

Who are you:

You are an open-minded team player with an interest in working with people from different cultures. You have excellent understanding of International Accounting Standards & Indirect Tax regulations in Europe, Middle East & Africa with a business mindset and strong project management skills. You have experience of managing teams and of working in an international, dynamic environment. 

Minimum requirements:

• Education: University degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance  or similar
• Minimum 10 years experience in Accounting/Auditing/Tax position in an international environment.
• Good knowledge of IT tools (SAP & Excel) and applications
