Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner.  The HR Business Partner is a strategic and tactical role responsible for driving the implementation of Electrolux HR strategy in support of the North America Information Technology, Legal and International Divisions.  The HRBP will coach, collaborate and partner with the management team to provide HR leadership and proactive solutions for business, people and organizational issues.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partner: Understands and anticipates business priorities and supports the drive for performance and results

  • Understand business context and challenges 
  • Use business knowledge to provide effective solutions that align with business goals
  • Partner with the management team to understand key performance issues, objectives and drivers and their implications for people and organizational strategies

Change Champion: Embraces change and understands strategies to address and reduce employee resistance

  • Challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change that drives continuous improvement 
  • Coach managers on leading change, engaging employees and effectively building capabilities 
  • Support delivery of the people strategy within the business, sector and drive business results through the identification and development of targeted HR/OD interventions to deliver performance

 Talent Manager and Organizational Designer: Select, retain and develop the right talent and capabilities 

  • Develop and implement proactive talent management solutions to deliver business results
  • Understand organizational capabilities to proactively develop and implement organizational design and structure improvements that support delivery of the business strategy
  • Coach, challenge and support managers in their role of people development and processes
  • Operational Support:  Implementation of HR and business initiatives, balancing both global and local needs
  • Support roll out of HR solutions to the business, engaging stakeholders and coaching managers and employees on process and Tools
  • Develop tools in collaboration with Centers of Expertise and HR Services to maximize opportunities for economies of scale, global consistency and shared learning

Tactical HR Support: Provide and administer human resources plans and procedures for assigned client group

  • Guide and support leaders on performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary guidance
  • Administer compensation program, including annual merit and compensation processes
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Consult and assist the business in workforce planning efforts, including recruiting interviewing and selection

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, Master’s degree preferred
  • 5-7 years of human resources business partner experience supporting a line of business
  • HR experience supporting an Information Technology business unit with ERP implementation experience highly preferred
