Our Global Design team is highly international with around 200 designers present in all our different business sectors. Our Design Centre Hub is in Stockholm, Sweden, collocated with our other Group functions.
 
Typical day at work

We are now looking for two Industrial Designers to join the teams for our business sector Major Appliances EMEA. You will be working with a dedicated category of products such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers or washing machines as well as assisting the larger team if needed.

As Industrial Designer, you will report to a Design Manager for the category. You will work in close contact with other departments such as Marketing, Product Line, and R&D and have daily communication regarding the ongoing initiatives in your product category. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the design proposition in form of renderings, illustration visuals, storyboards and/or other forms of communication, as well as coordinating with cross-category competences as CMF (color, materials & finishes), Graphics, FFF (fit, feel, finish) and UI. 
 
You’ll have the opportunity to with your creativity, inspire cross-functional ideation sessions and Innovation Workshops, practice your verbal presentation skills and occasionally travel (typically within Europe) for a meeting or factory visit.

Who are you

You have a good sensibility for clean, expressive visuals, as well as the ability to effectively communicate concepts and/or ideas across the organization. This can be through CAD-filled Powerpoints, hand-sketched storyboards or even just by using words alone. In short, we are not just looking for someone with only CAD-skills, but for an individual with character, curiosity and an empathic understanding of the world around us. Furthermore, you are organized, driven and highly collaborative. We believe you have around 5 Y experience within Industrial Design and the ambition to grow into a more senior role within a few years. You have been exposed to tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Keyshot, and Office package.
