Who you are:

As a Designer at Electrolux you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to creatively design and develop future products, accessories, experiences & services, from initial concept through to execution.

Using Design Thinking and Consumer Insights, you are able to able to analyse required information to form a relevant understanding of context, creating differentiated scenarios and concepts that explore and articulate an innovative proposition.

You can create appropriate visual languages by understanding the meaning and effect of these on the brand, audience, market, and culture, and use appropriate skills (sketching, 3D modelling, rendering, animation, video, VR) to define and communicate the solution to stakeholders.

By utilising various lean prototyping techniques (physical & digital), you rapidly test & iterate product, accessory, experience & service concepts.

Working independently & in partnership with other specialists, you define function, aesthetics, interaction, manufacture, materials, and finishing for product concepts.

You have strong communication and presentation skills, and can communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at an individual and group level utilising various techniques & formats (Static, Dynamic, Interactive).

You build close relationships and appropriately influence relevant internal & external stakeholders with your strong negotiation and persuasion skills.

A typical day at work

Create meaningful and innovative designed solutions using appropriate analytical & conceptual methods. Define function, aesthetics, interaction, manufacture, materials, and finishing for product concepts, working independently & in partnership with other specialists.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor´s degree in appropriate field such as Industrial Design or Fine Arts.
• 2-7 years of Industrial Design work experience.
• A proven track record of excellent design performance in previous positions.
