Innovation Engineer Hobs – Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany 

The Advanced Development Team is part of the Global R&D Cooking organization. Our role is to develop technically advanced solutions for all kind of appliances in cooking, mainly for ovens and cooktops. Within that role, we have strong links to product management, product development, and technology centers in EU, NA, LA and AU/AP.

We are located in Rothenburg/Germany, Forli/Italy, and Hangzhou/China. To strengthen the team in the area of induction cooktops we are searching for an ADC Innovation Engineer driving experimental testing and validation for technical projects.

The main task will be to develop innovative solutions for cooktops by assessing new technologies and ideas with high risk and proving the feasibility by functional prototypes.
The ADC Innovation Engineer has besides driving experimental testing the responsibility to do pre-studies & technology investigations with the aim to push innovation based on consumer insight and technology trends. 


• Drive experimental testing and validation for projects, prestudies and technology investigations. 
• Preparation of test plans (components, concepts, projects).
• Identify new ideas and drive technology investigations with external and internal partners.
• Develop innovative solutions by designing, building and testing functional prototypes.
• Create test reports to enable direct transfer of Technology and Product Development teams.

• Master degree in Engineering with an electronic/electric background.
• Working with test tools like LabVIEW, Excel, and measurement methods for electrical products.
• Knowledge of electric, electronic, computer science.
• Knowledge of standard testing methodologies like DoE or other statistical methodologies.
• Ability to take initiative and be proactive in an open-minded and creative environment.
• A structured and self-organized way of working.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization with international contacts. 
• Being a team player with good communication.
• Availability to travel.
• Languages: English mandatory, German is a plus.
