One of the core elements of Electrolux’ strategy is to capitalize on the tremendous digitalization opportunities through embracing new technology/IoT, for example by connected appliances, a digital manufacturing and closer end-consumer relationships. These key development areas offers a huge opportunity to enable a digital interaction between consumers, customers and suppliers.

For our Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA IT organization we are after an IT Head of Manufacturing Solutions to lead and direct the Manufacturing Solutions team on a day-to-day basis, promoting collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders in the business and IT across EMEA region, with regards to their current and future application solution needs as well as delivering to agreed budgets. 

In a nutshell you will be the steward in digital transformation and drive business value through technology enabled solutions. The role is responsible for all application development projects and delivery of IT applications solutions within the end-to-end Manufacturing landscape and you will be recognized for innovation, operational excellence and efficiency in the delivery of solutions and services. 

The Team 

You will lead the Manufacturing Solutions team comprised of 35 employees spread across EMEA region and as a great people leader that you are you’ll be developing them to meet current and future needs. In this role you will be a member of IT EMEA leadership team, reporting to VP IT EMEA.

Times are really exciting at Electrolux! We are on a digital transformation journey and we expect you to be the driving force to lead the way towards Industrial IoT, evangelize everything-digital and be a real a business leader in translating the needs into IT solutions.  


The role is based in our global headquarters office in Stockholm/Stadshagen and you will be travelling across Europe for approx. 50% of the time. 

A regular day at work 

• Steward in digital transformation and drive business value (revenue/efficiency) through technology enabled solutions
• Lead and drive the end to end Manufacturing IT landscape
• Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (return on investment, productivity, compliance, etc.)
• Lead and manage the Manufacturing Solutions team to drive value continuously, operational excellence and efficiencies while ensuring proper IT communications and IT governance
• Assume full budget responsibility for all Manufacturing Solutions activities
• Review and approve project deliverables and functions in project Steering Groups
• Active in securing delivery from on/offshore third party IT providers and work closely with key technology partners and leverage their capabilities to maximize the value add.

Minimum requirements

• 10+ years senior management experience, with proven record of business and people leadership in a multi-cultural and matrix environment
• Strong business acumen and a working knowledge of Manufacturing functions and processes
• Ability to identify synergies and opportunities across the IT landscape for the benefit of the function
• Broad understanding and experience within IT 
• Proven record of developing IT portfolio governance in close cooperation with business stakeholders
• Previous experience managing third party resources and services in an on/offshore model
• Experience of identifying, structuring and implementing IT solutions
