The IT manager is responsbile for managing the business of running IT – Implement and manage cost effective IT solutions to support Organization´s business needs; Sustain / operate IT services for Central America and Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico operations; ensure continuity of critical IT services; manage relationship with service providers; Create a high performing, highly engaged IT organization that consistently delivers high value initiatives/projects to our business.  This individual will specify new products, processes, standards based on organization strategy or set short to mid-term operational plans.


  • Develop and manage core IT governance processes for ensuring IT / business alignment, managing IT investments, IT Project management and delivering services for Central America and Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico
  • Assure continuity of critical IT services for Central America and Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Understand criticality/ urgency of systems and services; establish and monitor SLAs with key internal and external service providers
  • Supervise, Manage and Develop a high performance team of Information Technology team to implement, operate and administer technical Infrastructure / Voice & Data Network and IT
  • Applications to support Central America and Caribbean, Mexico and Puerto Rico
  • Act as liaison towards the business, Latin America IT and other parts of regional-global Electrolux IT
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve application and project support, decrease turnaround times and streamline processes to provide quality customer service
  • Maintain and enforce Group IT strategy, standards and procedures at all times;
  • Identify and drive opportunities for synergies across IT in Electrolux both inside the country and regionally.

Minimum Qualification

  • BS in engineering, Computer Science, Administration or equivalent technical experience
  • 5-7 years´ experience as an IT manager preferably for Sales Companies having exposure to ERP (JDE, SAP), Networking, Systems Analysis / Design & system Development, Project Management and IT HR Management
