Laboratory Specialist – Porcia, Italy

As a part of an Advanced Product Development Team, you will gain exposure to the top technologies and you will have a chance to work with well-experienced Electrolux engineers providing most innovative solutions. In your team, you will have two other colleagues working as laboratory specialists and you will report to an Advanced Product Development Global Laboratory Leader.

Your main duty will be to support the testing phase of Advanced Product Development projects, where new technologies are tested for the eventual creation of next-generation products. All international dish care standards are covered, and results are spread and accepted in all departments and regions. Your tasks will include:
• Manage and maintain Dish Care Performance Laboratory equipment and custom experimental setups.
• Prepare test equipment when necessary to ensure that all equipment is available and functioning when required.
• Ensure that the laboratory is clean and tidy, well stocked and resourced with all necessary materials.
• Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks.
• Allocation/management of equipment, resources  (materials, components, modules, products) for requested tests
• Prepare and review test reports.
• Verify the procedures correctness and results in consistency before continuing with a series of tests.
• Support the proposal of testing devices renewal, update or upgrade.
• Analytical, critical and logical skills; attention to detail
• Exposure to Six-Sigma methodologies  
• Data analysis and statistics
• Proactively contribute to the development of test procedures and laboratory quality manual.

• Secondary School Diploma in Chemistry (e.g. ITIS  perito chimico) or equivalent
• IT skills (Microsoft Office). 
• LabVIEW would be a plus.

English – good level
