Manufacturing Solutions Lead, IT EMEA 

Currently for our IT EMEA organization we are looking for the Manufacturing Solutions Lead who will be responsible for the IT solutions in manufacturing planning and execution processes in the factories in Major Appliances EMEA. The Solutions Lead will be developing a close working relationship with key stakeholders in the business sector as well as with functions and teams within IT EMEA. 

The Manufacturing Solutions Lead will lead an organization of roughly 35 employees located in 6 countries across Europe and is responsible for the project portfolio and managing the pipeline of new IT demands.  
A key part of this role is to facilitate the convergence of business ideas and requests with the right IT solution design and delivery, using a strong business and IT experience.


The chosen person is expected to be a steward in digital transformation and drive business value (revenue/efficiency) through technology enabled solutions, through driving the ownership of the business application portfolio and the development of the corresponding application roadmap.

Key operational responsibilities: 

• Drive the digital transformation 
• Own IT roadmap and project portfolio of IT manufacturing within EMEA region
• Be the partner and act as the point of contact for the central Manufacturing and Engineering stakeholders
• Remote people management 
• Develop people and capabilities in the Manufacturing Solutions team to meet current and future needs.
• Actively build cross-functional and cross-competence collaboration within and outside the direct area of control
• Ensure proper IT planning in close cooperation with business stakeholders. 
• Where applicable contribute to the creation of business cases and corresponding IT investment requests
• Act as Electrolux IT representative in European Key User Groups that relate to manufacturing and secure together with the key stakeholders in the sector that these forums are in place and operate in a correct way 
• Facilitate and/or be a catalyst for successful implementation of large IT projects.
• Direct personnel involved in the development and implementation of business applications and/or maintenance and support of the existing application portfolio.
• Assume full budget responsibility for all Manufacturing solutions activities
• Maintain leadership and personal skills at the highest level
• Review and approve project deliverables and functions in project Steering Groups
• Maintain and enforce Group IT strategy, standards and procedures at all times
• Identify and drive opportunities for synergies and efficiencies across IT and the business within area of responsibility
• Third party IT providers management
• Drive innovation within the team, specifically related to digital transformation, and regularly review applications and offerings on the market

• University degree in IT and/or industrial operations/engineering 
• At least 5 years previous experience, of which at least 3 in a line management position, including:
- Managing an Application Portfolio with an international scope
- A proven record of developing and managing IT projects and/or support organizations on an international basis
- Staff management, including remote management
- Negotiations and managing third party resources and services for support and development of IT applications
- Ability to prepare and present material to different levels in an organization, including senior management
• Fluent English skills
• Experience from manufacturing solutions from SAP is an advantage
