Role Objectives

The Marketing Director for Thailand will be responsible for creating and implementing Electrolux’s marketing strategy in order to strengthen the envisioned perception of the Electrolux brand across sales channels and to drive conversion. You will maximize the impact of all marketing activities through 360-degree consumer activation as well as finding new digital marketing opportunities.

• PR / CSR / Events

Key Operational Responsibilities

• Adaption and activation of the East Asia (Ea) Integrated Marketing Activity Plan (IMAP) for Thailand
• Ensure execution of the IMAO initiative is complied with brand communication strategy and effectively exposed to target audience
• Development of key marketing and channel initiatives in collaboration with Trade Marketing and Sales Thailand
• Management and allocation of the Thailand marketing budget
• Setting metrics and KPIs on key initiatives e.g. brand health, promotions and evaluating return on investment
• Relationship management with key stakeholders e.g. press, bloggers, large customers and other companies/public organizations
• Track monthly PR metrics, press releases, social media etc
• Media planning
• Best practice sharing with other countries in EA
• Work with advertising and media agencies to develop media and execution plan
• Ensure outstanding impact of the Electrolux brand on the shop floor
• Continuously analysing market trends and developments that will maximise  impact in delivering the commercial strategy
• Maintain and develop the Marketing organization in terms of headcount, skills, and Electrolux “Teamship”
• Management of a cross functional Marketing team whilst working in partnership with other functions in a matrix organisation

Minimum Qualification

Competences needed (Education / Experience / Skills / Competencies / Languages)

Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration as a minmum, Master degree is preferable

Technical Skills :
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to organize and leverage resources from various areas to work together towards common objectives
• Strong team player, but also takes individual responsibility
• Brand and business oriented, strategic & creative thinker
• Clear and effective communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Thai and English (oral & written)
• Good presentation skills
• Creativity – coming up with out-of the-box solutions
• Firmness in sticking to principles, but willing to adjust when needed
• Market knowledge of the white goods industry is a plus

Preferred Career Experience :

• 10+ years experience in Marketing at consumer focused companies (FMCG, consumer electronics, etc)
• Experienced in managing premium brands
• Experience driving integrated marketing initiatives & managing cross-functional teams
• Experience in a matrix organization and international experience is highly desirable
