MECHANICAL DESIGNER – Jászberény, Hungary

As a Mechanical Designer, your mission will be to support the Electrolux Major Appliances organization in the introduction of new products and maintenance of existing products which includes creating, evaluating, verifying and improving technical solutions and products. In this role you will interact with a number of stakeholders, take responsibility to deliver initiatives even if under pressure. You will be exposed to Product Care team, R&D laboratories, model workshops (prototyping), purchasing team, suppliers, quality organization, factory manufacturing and engineering teams as well as product line (commercial aspect). 


Your focus will be the following:
• Ensure and implement product improvement actions (cost/quality on components for existing products).
• Define, lead and implement Direct Material Efficiency actions, in the cross-functional teams  
• Analysis of technical solutions with suppliers, factory and other involved functions
• Support the purchasing actions/ 
• Provide technical support to the factory solving of short-term problems.
• Drawings creation and release, ensure new variants introduction
• Input for bill of material (BOM)
• Support rump up of new Product Development Architecture projects
• Create strong relationship with all functions in the organization 
• Part approval: understand technical tests results to take decision on final approval

• University degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Engineering or other technical fields
• Experience in product development, engineering or manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of 3D design tool (CATIA preferred)
• Strong structured and engineering approach during each development phase
• Project/Program Management
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes (metal forming, molding and etc.)
• Experience in material technologies is appreciated (plastics, steels)
• Good IT skills 

• Hungarian - Fluent
• English - Intermediate
