Being a member of the Plant Management Team, you will be operating  as head of the Manufacturing Engineering Department,  in a continuously changing and challenging environment. 
You will lead the research, development, investigation and application of new or existing manufacturing technologies. 

You will combine strong technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, practical application’s experience with the savy business acumen to coordinate and lead the operations to produce kitchen hoods according to the targets of the factory in terms of Safety, Quality, Costs and Deliveries and, in specific, to continuously:
• Increase Labor Productivity 
• Optimize technological resources
• Meet productivity and efficiency targets

Your Impact
Leading a team composed of specialists,
Supervising, budgeting, planning, equipping and training activities.
Delivering new products feasibility, preliminary cost estimation for tools and equipment modification and related timing.
Participating in internal new product development activities that require technology input and output.
interfacing deeply with Manufacturing as well as with Product Line, Purchasing, Quality and Suppliers.
Being in charge of Plant General Services (i.e. building & plant facilities management) and Maintenance Department.
You will be actively involved in the reduction of SCR, Not Right First Time (NRFT) and Scraps as well.

More in detail, You will have to: 

• Ensure adequacy and updating of production equipment, as well as managing introduction of new equipment in the factory 
• Study and optimize the Factory Layout in a more and more lean way
• Prepare, manage and follow capital expenses (CAPEX) plan for Equipment, Safety, Quality 
• Manage Investment Requests, ensuring investments will be realized in expected time and meeting expectations
• Serve as primary liaison for R&D, he/she will provide feasibility for product modification
• Follow the complete Industrialization of new products
• Optimize factory resources 
• Lead the Green Spirit team with special focus on energy consumption reduction
• Contribute to support and promote EMS (Electrolux Manufacturing System) activities in the Factory
• Ensure production continuity driving all the necessary preventive, intervention and improvement Maintenance 

Reporting to:
Operationally Plant Manager, Functionally EMEA Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Technical Degree education (industrial/engineering) 
• Minimum of 5, maximum 10 years in engineering/manufacturing within the similar capacity business and environment
• Communicative and convincing
• Team player and team builder;
• Able to work under pressure
• Creative and open minded  
• Good technical background
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of English
• Familiarity with quality tools and measurements will be a plus
• Target oriented
• Ability to lead people
