  • Product Development EngineerJR – Washing Cycle Development (CCF)


  • Develop washing cycles from concept and specification to coding, debugging, testing and validation;
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and expectations of consumer test institutes;
  • Code cycle instructions to washer microcontroller in C Language;
  • Make use of software system lifecycle management applications to track and manage multiple versions;
  • Ensure proper distribution of binaries making use of existing workflow and tools;
  • Assess cycle behavior and robustness using simulation tools;
  • Plan, execute, analyze and report experiments related to cycle development in fabric care domain;
  • Support testing and development with tailor-made cyclesSupport new developments in washer functionality domain;
  • Cooperate with other departments on new designs, improvement proposals, quality issues;
  • Cooperate with GTD EE firmware development team;
  • Cooperate with Regional CCF;
  • References on coding guidelines and appropriate handover of ownership;
  • Prepare and release relevant documentation;
  • Share knowledge with team members.

Minimum Qualification

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field;
  • Proficiency in software development in C or C++ language (.NET is a plus);
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Equipment such as oscilloscopes and data acquisition devices;
  • Hands-on capability with harnesses, electrical circuits, sensors and actuators;
  • Entry-level background on circuit design (analog/digital);
  • Good knowledge of Matlab;
  • Strong skills in data acquisition, signal processing, data visualization and reporting;
  • Competence on statistical analysis (6-Sigma methodology proficiency is a plus)
