Senior Account Manager Home Care & Small Domestic Appliances VIC

Job Description

Management of Financial Targets – 25%
 Manage the achievement of sales and financial targets set for the state.
 Management of key accounts in VIC to meet product ranging and financial targets.
 Service current accounts and develop new accounts to achieve the sales and financial targets

Leadership and People Management – 25%
 Working with the National Field Sales Manager & National Account Managers, define VIC sales & distribution objectives and including define territory / account priorities for VIC account managers
 Manage, coach and develop account managers s to improve job performance & efficiency, relationships and results.
 Ensure clear sales, distribution & training goals are set and regular follow up is provided for VIC Home Care & SDA account managers in accordance with National sales strategies.
 Assist the National Field Sales Manager in the recruitment, selection and training of field sales staff.
 Ensure Electrolux values, procedures and guidelines are understood and manifest in all activities.

Field Activity Implementation – 20%
 Manage the in-store activities of the assigned territory or group of accounts for the achievement of short and long-term sales & financial goals.
 Ensure product displays and POS materials are maintained to meet best in class standards.
 Ensure that sales & marketing promotions are executed effectively and in line with Electrolux brand guidelines & standards.
 Ensure that sales and marketing initiatives comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
 Drive the Electrolux brand through outstanding customer service.

Train and Educate – 20%
 Ensure all sales stakeholders have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Electrolux products, value propositions, promotional agendas and customer care services.
 Ensure VIC team are equipped with adequate knowledge & materials, and have orgnaised training schedules with key accounts
 Participate in regular sales training sessions to set strategies and determine business plans relating to assigned products or customers.
 Ensure company promotional and marketing activity is at the forefront of customer’s attention.

Communication Management – 10%
 Provide detailed sales reports to the National Field Sales Manager and General Manager.
 Prepare and participate in National strategy meetings for Home Care & SDA and ensure VIC is briefed on the Home Care & SDA business performance.
 Manage and facilitate the flow of communication from customers, major accounts and Home Care & SDA Account Managers up to  National Field Sales Manager and  General Manager.
 Ensure complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and the company.
 Maintain and foster relationships through all Electrolux divisions to ensure collaboration and cooperation in order to leverage the scale and expertise across all business functions.

 Ability to work flexible work hours, including evening and weekend work.
 Ability to undertake short regional stays.
 Designated sales territory (subject to change, which may be local and/or regional).

 Experience in floor care category highly regarded.
 Ideally 3 + years sales experience in electrical goods industry.
 Tertiary Qualifications in Business or similar will be highly regarded.
 PC literate (minimum int. MS Office).
