Senior Legal Councel – Electrolux IP Legal

We are looking for an experienced technology lawyer to join our IP Legal team as part of Electrolux Group Legal function. You will lead our IT related legal support for Electrolux’ development activities around the globe and report to Electrolux Head of IP Legal.

Typical day at work
You will be the center of expertise and primary business partner for IT-related legal advice and support development activities for connected, smart appliances and similar technologies. Part of your role will be to draft and negotiate a wide range of technology-related agreements. You will lead, manage and/or support the development of processes and procedures on these issues. You will provide relevant training and knowledge sharing on the legal aspects of these activities, also when it comes to emerging technologies, to business and other member of the Legal Affairs team. As the Senior Group Legal Counsel, you will develop and mentor other Legal Counsel in the IP Legal team to develop IT related legal skills in their own areas of responsibility. Part of your role can also be to assist on the technology aspects of M&A or provide general IP related legal support where required.

Education & experience
• You are an experienced technology lawyer with at least 7 years relevant experience with a solid law-firm background and ideally, experience in a multi-national company
• You have worked in an international environment towards multi-functional teams
• You have solid experience and a very good understanding of IT-related legal matters in a research and development environment
• You have experience of working with general IP-related transactional matters.
• You have a law degree from at least one jurisdiction.
• You have to be fluent in English
• You are flexible to travel when required
