Senior Interaction Designer


We are looking for a bold and creative mind who can drive our user ability agenda and strive for best – in class design solutions. Do you have a design approach and have applied the “human touch” into product’s functional requirements and mechanics? A REGULAR DAY AT WORK

You will creatively lead the user experience process leading to the development of physical and digital user interactions, interface and design solutions of current and future appliances, from initial research, through concept, implementation and production.

You will be actively involved throughout the entire user experience / interface development process from end user needs and idea-generation to implementation, with constant and unique overview of all product areas.

You will take a forward outlook towards product, service and market opportunities and provide creative input and design solutions that contribute to the success of Electrolux

Your responsibilities will also include converting marketing guidelines and Consumer Insights into User Experiences and interaction design solutions and  to support the Consumer Insight research process by translating needs into design requirements, work collaborative with the Industrial Designers to develop user centric design solution and drive concept development for the interaction method and user interface Design.
Your role is to inspire, coach and educate other designers and be inspired, coached and educated by other designers.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor´s degree in appropriate field such as Multimedia or Interaction Design, Product Design or Ergonomic Design. 
• 5 - 10 years of relevant UX work experience with a proven track record of excellent interaction design performance in previous positions.

Design Skills
• Experience with design research and design validation process.
• Ability to create user scenarios, layouts and all other aspects of the user interface.
• Excellent visualization skills and graphic sensitivity. 
• Ability to develop content navigation and interaction prototypes through process flowcharts, matrixes, diagrams and other documentation. 
• Professional working experience in developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and knowledge and/or interest in embedded user interfaces and its technology. 
• Developed computer design skills and specialization in softwares like Macromedia Flash (action scripts, animation), Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant design software), and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Sufficient level of graphic design skills needed for the development of GUIs.
• Aptitude for SW engineering, electronics development, and market inputs.
• Ability to create user experiences and user interfaces based on human factors and ergonomics principles, end-user needs perspective.
