Treasury Analyst

The Treasury Analyst supports the Regional Treasury Manager in providing Treasury services for Electrolux operations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  The Regional Treasury function for North America also helps to ensure that the Group Treasury policies are followed by the business sectors.  


The Treasury Analyst will carry out the Treasury duties set out below within the North America finance function. 

  • Initiate wire payments
  • Administer and monitor online bank user access for North American users
  • Responsible for the short-term cash forecast and communication to Group Treasury and any support thereof, including monitoring and follow-up of variances
  • Daily monitoring and maintenance of liquidity in North America
  • Manage investment of excess funds
  • Maintain details of debt instruments and ensure compliance with all relevant terms
  • Extensive interaction with the operating businesses regarding all cash management issues, including resolution of issues requiring customer service by our banking partners
  • Perform monthly analysis of bank fees and investigate significant variances
  • Foreign currency transacting and reporting (i.e. Spot and SWAPs)
  • Monthly/Quarterly closing activities
    • Coordination with financial accounting and reporting group, including support for monthly journal entries
    • Reconcile Canadian cash pool and bank balances, assistance with reconciliation of U.S. cash pool balances
    • Quarterly tax transfers and journal entries
    • Liquidity reporting for Major Appliance business
    • Journal entries for miscellaneous Holding Company deposits
    • Support for statutory financial statements and footnote disclosures
  • Various cash management and other treasury projects upon request
  • Maintain cordial banking relationships
  • Maintain process documentation, including the delegation of authority (DOA), for Treasury activities, including powers of attorney in consultation with Group Legal
  • Support for Regional and Group Treasury initiatives, including working capital management
  • Purchasing card maintenance on behalf of Treasury
  • Letter of Credit maintenance and fee reimbursements

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration 
  • 1-2 years of financially-oriented business experience; treasury experience is preferable
