Admin & Facility Manager secures a proper working environment, and compliant from all the health and safety regulations. Makes sure we have a sustainable approach in using the resources in a cost-effective manner. Listens to business needs and proactively finds solutions for the possible challenges that arise to the office environment. Engages with all the necessary stakeholders to secure alignment and propose ways that we can improve the working environment. A well working office environment is a crucial prerequisite for our employees to be able to deliver at their best.

A Typical Day


Office Admin & Business License Management

  • Establishes and implements office admin policies, procedure, and its management system.
  • Administration and office operation – receptionist & mailing services, pantry, printing & photocopying services, lighting, office furniture, stationaries, IT peripherals, business cards, miscellaneous purchasing, logistics management of the transportation of hardware.
  • Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of technical installations, building maintenance and repairs.
  • Responsible for procurement and installation of fire protection system, and work together with IT for all technical infrastructure of the offices.
  • Ensures business licenses is monitored and renewed on time.

Budget Responsibility

  • Provides input and forecasts for cost of operation of all premises within the assigned scope.

Continuous Improvement Initiative / Project

  • Takes lead in office improvement initiatives, i.e office expansion / renovation / move project, meeting room management, office housekeeping.
  • Leads the committee of managing facilities.
  • Comes with proposal for improving the working place.
  • Work together with HRBP and Management in ensure great facilities to support the plan of becoming an Employer of Choice.

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Health & Safety of employees leading the pandemic challenges as well as managing any other health issues.
  • Promotes workplace safety by performing regular inspection, risk reports, timely safety related corrections and conduct regular safety review meeting.
  • Responsible for BCP/ Continuity Management and work closely with IT and other departments to ensure we have a strong BCP should any disaster occurs.
  • Ensures strong sustainability focus to make sure we deliver on the Group sustainability targets to reduce the energy consumption and provide a physical work environment in line with our high sustainability standards (including in participating & furnishing the data for global sustainability KPI reports).


Communication & Key Liaison Contact

  • Represents Electrolux India in relations with any authorities, external institutions, public offices, companies, and individuals for any type of initial agreements, negotiation of agreements, settlements within the assigned scope.
  • Acts as the liaison person with government agencies and ensure the company is following all protocols needed and be responsible for fire management – managing and planning fire drills.
  • Responsible for internal communication within the area of responsibility (writing articles, announcements).

In this role, you will be dealing with Electrolux’s   Internal & External customers. You should be confident in dealing with leaders both from a country level and region level perspective.

In Electrolux, we encourage open communication at all levels and put emphasis in dealing with our customers as well as colleagues with integrity and respect. You will be working in Mumbai, India on regular working hours and may be required to travel both domestic and international.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in Administration & facility management.
  • Experience or certified in Occupational Safety & Health.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of managing complex reorganizations and/or relocating offices will be a plus.
  • Very good MS Office skills.
