Role Objectives

  • To manage local regulatory certificates of major home appliances (“MA” such as refrigerator, washing machines, dryers, kitchen appliances-hood, hobs, ovens, and microwaves) later VALID during product life cycle
  • To deliver service KPIs (warranty cost, service cycle time, service net promoter scores, etc.)

 

Mission

Approbation & Service Specialist takes care that

  • Ensure all of MA products comply with legal requirements, country requirements, & our own requirements before launching to Korea
  • Technically support wherever necessary within the organization
  • Coordinate warranty cost for MA products
  • Handle MA consumer/customer complaints
  • Support quality assurance, service contracts, service network management

 

Key Operational Responsibilities
(Identification of job content in terms of outputs)

  • Coordinate all approbation aspects and process (Safety, EMC, Radio, EER, KFDA, EcoAS) to launch new MA products in Korea
  • Work closely with the East Asia cluster team to receive and review the required product samples and documents to submit the local approval
  • Resolve technical issues by being a liaison between the test labs and Electrolux team during local approbation process
  • Coordinate factory audits and surveillance audits
  • Manage Certifications & Labels
  • Update the list of certifications & labels at the SharePoint
  • Manage labels in complying with the regulation
  • Study local regulations and update them
  • Support Quality manager to resolve product quality issues
  • Do the monthly closing of warranty cost for MA products
  • Provide technical documents and trainings to service centers
  • Handle consumer/customer complaints escalated from service centers, call centers, customers, and consumer organizations
  • Support service contracts, service network management, field quality reports, and service call report generation
  • Technically support wherever necessary within the organization

Minimum Qualification

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree of Engineering (Electronics related degree is preferred) 

Technical Skills

  • International/local electronic standard knowledge is preferred
  • Service-related technical knowledge
  • Home appliance product knowledge 

Preferred Career Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Working experience at Home appliance companies
