AR Supervisor

The supervisor is responsible for leading, training, coaching and developing the employees assigned to national retailer Accounts Receivable.  This individual will focus on working with the team to define best practices for each National Account, creating and maintaining customer profiles and execution of best practices to manage the receivables, maximize collections and minimize past dues.


  • Be the subject matter expert for National Accounts collection and chargeback processes
  • Create and maintain process profiles on National Accounts and provide training to individual team members
  • Collaborate with others to identify and execute process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with management and various business groups to manage customer disputes, drive issues to resolution and execute actionable items
  • Manage receivable escalations and disputes
  • Monitor aging service level and ensure targets are met
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Train and develop team members to maximize their productivity and efficiency
  • Delegate effectively for proper utilization of team member time and talent

Minimum Qualification


  • B.S. Degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing accounts receivable or other financial processes in a high volume environment with multiple systems and complex practices and processes
  • Experience in a shared services environment is preferred
