SUMMARY: 

Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for Supply Chain.  This role will primarily support the implementation of the Electrolux HR strategy within our supply chain network. In collaboration with the NA HR Team, the HRBP will coach, collaborate and partner with managers and employees to provide HR solutions for business, people and organizational issues. 

This role will also provide critical HR project team support and manage the human capital planning associated with major Supply Chain and Operations projects. The HRBP will provide liaison between the project team and HR to align on manpower mapping, timing, skills required, training resources, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

BUSINESS PARTNER: General understanding of the business priorities and how HR strategies and initiatives impact them

  • Supports the implementation of HR Strategies
  • Able to apply business understanding to manager/employee coaching and discussions
  • Use business knowledge to provide effective solutions
  • Partner with the HR team to understand and provide recommendations to performance issues and drivers for people and organizational strategies

TALENT MANAGER AND ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGNER: Select, retain and develop the right talent and capabilities

  • Implement proactive talent management solutions to deliver business results
  • Coach, challenge and support managers with HR processes and people development

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT: Implementation of initiatives, balancing both global and local needs with an understanding of common frameworks and practices

  • Support roll out of HR solutions
  • Develop tools in collaboration with Centers of Expertise and HR Services

TACTICAL HR SUPPORT: Provide and administer human resource plans and procedures

  • Guide and support leaders and employees on HR processes
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Partner with HR teams to consult and assist the business in workforce planning efforts, including interviewing and selection

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in order to deliver project requirements

  • Accountable for the HR project management life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, closure and monitoring
  • Responsible for development of any required manpower plans including specific resource and timing needs
  • Achieve all agreed upon goals within the set scope, time, quality and budget standards
  • Partner with supply chain/operations functions and project team to establish recruitment, onboarding and training plans to ensure resources are in place to support timely startup of new facilities

Minimum Qualification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 3-5 years of human resources experience; preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
