Role Objectives

 

Mission

The mission of the Brand Manager is to develop, activate and track strategic 360 initiatives across key markets in East Asia (EA) in order to achieve a best in class consumer experience pre, at and post purchase, drive synergies across the markets, and to meet both brand and sales targets for the cluster.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the “Integrated Marketing Activity Plan” (IMAP) for East Asia
    Manage strategic 360 experience projects as defined by IMAP, including preparation, implementation in local markets and ongoing monitoring / reporting of results (closely align with Trade Marketing, Digital and PR)
  • Develop Marketing support (gold, silver, bronze) for HERO product launches in close alignment with APAC Marketing, cluster Product Line and local market needs
  • Work with Commercial Launch (CL) MD on defining CL annual plan as well as Key rep for Up-stream development for EA input.
  • Develop key 360 marketing and channel initiatives
  • Track monthly Marketing metrics (Brand Health, Social, PR, etc)
  • Track KPIs on key initiatives (e.g. gold initiatives, promotions) and evaluate return on investment
  • Project management for strategic Marketing initiatives in EA
  • Media planning in EA (agency management, strategy, process, synergies, KPIs)
  • Best practice sharing across Electrolux sectors, APAC region and EA
  • Lead monthly 360 Forum and coordinate quarterly 360 Marketing summits
  • Brief agencies and coordinate agency meetings. Ensure their deliverables are on-time, on-brief and within budget
  • Lead quarterly Business and competitive review in marketing forum
  • Benchmarking of simply outstanding consumer experiences (competition and out of category / leading industries)
  • Define Ownership Experience support level for EA and activate across key markets in close alignment with APAC Ownership Solutions

Minimum Qualification

Competences Needed

  • Education: University / Business School or equivalent
  • Excellent project management & leadership skills
  • Strong team player, but also takes individual responsibility
  • Brand and business oriented, strategic & creative thinker
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent English (oral & written)
  • EA market understanding (advantage)

 

Preferred Career Experience

  • Min. 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing in companies or agencies with similar products & services (experience in white goods industry is a plus)
  • Experience driving integrated marketing initiatives & managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a matrix organization is a plus
