Business Analyst

Reporting to the Global Product Category Controller in Food Preservation, the Business Analyst will support the daily activities in the Global R&D team that include financial reporting of budgets and forecasts, process improvements, as well as frequent alignments with R&D controllers in the different business areas. 

This role is an excellent growth opportunity that combines both reporting responsibilities in a highly complex organizational structure, as well as exposure to the recent strategic changes, that will reshape the Food Preservation consumer and market approach. 

The Business Analyst will have regular interaction with Controllers from different business areas around the globe and will have the opportunity to learn and challenge the existing reporting processes in each of them. This will be a great opportunity for someone that thrives in international working environment.

Description of the position:
• Support the actual follow-up, forecasting and budgeting process, by preparing and uploading official templates in the Group’s consolidating system (OneStream)
• Communicate with, and challenge the regional stakeholders (controllers) during the process of budget/forecast input collection
• OneStream Super User - develop an in-depth knowledge of the system and become a centre of expertise by providing support and training for counterparts within different parts of the organization. 
• Develop tailor-made reports for analysis not existing as standard reports in the system (One Stream)
• Monthly and quarterly closure sign offs of all regional and global R&D costs reported 
• Monthly follow up on global functions/projects invoiced costs (as part of the global invoicing process)
• Participate in PPM transitional activities – related to global R&D project portfolio 
• Prepare monthly reports for certain global cost centres, including reviews with cost centre responsible
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports
• Support of measures to increase the efficiency in controlling work for global R&D controlling

The position requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 3+ years in Finance/Accounting/Business Controlling & Reporting
• Stakeholder management, especially in multicultural teams.
• Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities while working effectively in a team environment
• Excellence in MS-Office suite, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
