We are looking for a Business Analyst – Temporary contract who will be based in Porcia and who will support the Controller and the team in financial and business reporting ensuring integrity and accuracy. 

This role participates in the month end close process, forecast and budget development and making sure proper internal controls are in place and insightful analysis performed on the business performances.

A typical day: 
• To support the commercial and management team with insights, business analysis and recommendations;
• To coordinate and execute Budget and forecasting activity between Sales, operations and controlling Sales forecasting supporting the Weekly beat activities;
• To do variance analysis on Price Volume Mix and record and analyse commercial terms & condition with clients;
• To prepare analysis of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting both for Finance and Sales Operations & Logistics;
• To participate in the preparation of the monthly forecast, strategic plan and annual budget for Finance and Sales Operations & Logistics;
• To perform P&L month end closing activities for the sales division in coordination with the Group manuals and ensure manual and system transaction accounts reconcile to applicable ERP reports;
• To track sales & profitability on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as necessary for a proper understanding of the business;
• To assist the Controller and Sales Operations Manager with key task for the implementation of any new tools and system, assist in data management and improving data accuracy

Education & skills:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering with previous experiences in similar role;
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, administrative duties and controlling framework;
• Excel expert, previous experience with SAP R3 / BPC is an advantage;
• Ability to communicate fluently in Italian and English;
• Commercially astute with ability and desire to understand the business dynamics beyond finance;
• Previous experience in a Big4 is an advantage.
