Business Area APAC & MEA Functional Cost Controller

We are now looking for our next Business Area APAC & MEA Functional Cost Controller. You will be based in Singapore and report to our Financial Controller APAC & MEA.
The Controlling and Business planning team is accountable towards APAC & MEA Leadership Team and the Group Finance for providing accurate and on time business and financial information on the overall Business Area performance.
Some of the key operational responsibilities and role’s objectives:
Final responsible for budget process for all Business Area head office departments;
Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure the best budget efficiency;
Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections;
Assessment of incoming investments;
Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs;
Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize expenses;
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers;
Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality;
Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures;
Present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders;
Educate and persuade stakeholders to procure buy-in and cooperation;
Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals.

Education & experience
Bachelor degree in business and/or management.
Minimum 6 years of experience Controlling and/or Business Planning.
Experience in driving large projects and change management with senior stakeholders.
