About the team

The team’s core strategy is to focus on outstanding consumer experience, while increasing sales revenue and reducing operational costs. The Business Controller role is to ensure that we drive business performance across financial and operational results. 

In this role you will be part of the CKA/ KRT management team, functionally reporting to VP Kitchen Retail Sales & Central Key Accounts EMEA and operationally reporting to BA-E Sales and Services Controller


•As P&L owner with the CKA team, monitor and proactively address issues on the financial performance of the CKA business;
•Preparation and follow up of Investment requests, Request For quotation, make or buy decisions;
•Secure thorough follow-up of warranty reserve related assumptions (volume, Service Call Rate and Cost per call) with Quality and CCS functions and explain development and impact.
•Analyse margins within customers by product line and provide recommendation and point of view on opportunities and risks 
•Secure correctness of monthly reporting of Integrated P&L in SAP BI
•Monthly preparation and reporting of business call reporting in BPC & SAP BI 
•Provide input to ensure correctness of the financial numbers (actual and forecast) in Group reporting system
•Drive the Budget process of the CKA. 
•Support the IKEA / CKA team in the preparation of all financial numbers
•Support the Strategic Planning process for the CKA’s 
•Support the CKA/KRT team on the RMI model and business cases for price negotiation

Education & experience

• University degree in Business Administration/Finance or similar
• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar position and strong Controlling background
• Relevant experience in Warranty Cost /Logistics/Operations/Consumer Care Controlling
• Experience of working in an international, dynamic environment
• Good knowledge of IT tools (SAP) and MS Office
• Excellent English, verbal and written
