As Buying and Supply Chain Operations Specialist (Supply Chainer) you are responsible for the planning and sourcing of various stock items, consumables, engineering and maintenance items, OEM items and non-stock items.  It includes the defining, execution, control, analyze and adjusting these items to ensure on time and in full delivery in a cost-effective way.

Main responsibilities:
• Meet Electrolux’s operational requirements (price, quality, and reliability), ensuring that all required items are available for the corresponding departments.
• Source (identify, evaluate and interact with suppliers) items timeously and cost-effectively.
• Materials/purchase planning and budgets.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the various departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Initiate and execute (including expediting and call offs) purchase orders and give feedback to the various stakeholders.
• Produce accurate and timeous reports.
• Optimize and improve supply chain activities.

• Grade 12 with Mathematics as subject
• Professional qualification with previous experience (2-4) or university degree (Industrial Engineering or B.Comm)
