As two of our category managers within the Kitchen Business Area are moving on to new challenges internally upon jobs really well done, we are looking to fill the positions with two new commercially minded self-started people ready to grow our kitchen categories.

The role:
As a Category Manager you would be in charge of defining and driving a consumer-centric product strategy for your categories, in line with the overall Nordic strategy. In your day-to-day job you would be working with shaping a consumer relevant range with a clear pricing and distribution strategy to delivery sustainable, long term growth for your categories. You will work close to sales and marketing to define the right consumer experience and you will report directly to “Head of Taste”, which is the role that has the full P&L responsibility for the Kitchen business in the Nordics.

To be fit for the job you are a self-starting individual loving to fully own your area of responsibility, collaborating cross touchpoints with ease. To succeed you are analytical and have a good commercial mindset as well as the ability to learn a large and complex scope fast. You find the thought of re-shaping how we are meeting our Nordic consumers exciting, as we are looking for someone ready to push the organization to real leaps in terms of consumer centricity. The role will have 1-2 direct reports and being a great manager should therefore be something you take seriously, no matter if you have previous experience from that or not. A mature and humble persona open to feedback along the way is key as we are constantly modifying and learning how to improve things to reach our highly set targets. 

Your main tasks:
•Lead the development of the annual business plan grounded in real consumer needs
•Lead portfolio work providing input on new product developments and defining Nordic range
•Team up with sales to equip us well for going to customer. Frequently present externally
•Participate in demand planning activities to ensure maximum efficiencies
•Provide outside in thinking to your business, monitoring market- consumer- & competitive trends 

•Bachelor or master’s degree
•Commercial mindset & strong track record from business-oriented roles. 5-years of experience.
•Strong analytical and presentation skills 
•Experience from project management as you will engage with various tasks regarding your categories
•Ability to work in matrix organizations with various stakeholders at national and international level
