The Organisation & Role

At Electrolux, our purpose to shape living for the better. Within Group Operations, we are looking for a Communications Manager. The scope of this global function comprises Manufacturing, Product Sourcing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Digital Operations, and more. The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional, preferably who has an understanding of these areas.

Within Group Operations, our mission is to drive operational excellence and digitalization throughout the entire value chain. Digitalization is rapidly transforming our business and is therefore a big part of our storytelling.

In the Communications Manager role, you will manage internal employee communications, as well as drive engaging content in our external channels (e.g. LinkedIn and Instagram). You will be part of building our corporate brand and position us as an employer of choice. As a trusted business partner, you will offer strategic advice and support leaders in various communication issues, contributing to the overall execution of our business strategy.

To be successful in this role, you have a strong track record in communications and relevant experience from working in a large, international company. We are looking for a collaborative person and strong communicator, who is able to consistently deliver results in a multi-faceted, complex environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities
·        Employee communication through various internal and external channels/forums
·        Advising and supporting leaders in communication matters
·        Support change management programs
·        Project and event management/execution
·        Production of communication materials (e.g. project proposals, company presentations, newsletters, articles, web content, program materials, video scripts, leadership messaging, podcasts, social media content etc.)
·        Support global initiatives like our Diversity and Inclusion program, community building and employer branding

·        Academic degree in communications, public relations or a relevant field
·        8+ years of relevant experience in communications from a large, international company, or similar experience from working as a consultant
·        Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business objectives and strategy into clear and engaging communication
·        Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, preferably a native-English speaker or the equivalent
·        Project management skills and experience in working with consultants and agencies
·        Experience in internal communications and driving change
    o   Experience with video and live/online event production
 o   Experience with creating graphics and PowerPoint slides
·        Willingness to travel (around once a month)
·        Collaborative with the ability to partner effectively with other functions and business area representatives
