The EMS Coordinator is responsible for the execution of standard EMS manufacturing processes; continuous improvement, standard work, problem-solving, training and employee involvement. In additions, lead and direct the change agents in the development and delivery of educational programs, training courses and certification classes to maintain best practices that align with the overall mission and vision of the organization.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead EMS established standardized guidelines and principles by utilizing continuous improvement methodology and create an environment for never-ending improvement
  • Develops and maintains business performance measures and conducts analysis of data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborates with Management Team regarding process improvement opportunities within their departments
  • Responsible to lead, mentor, train, guide and support plant level staff in their efforts to deliver on the continuous improvement plan
  • Manage and direct a team of change agents to establish and implement lean transformation

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and leading Lean projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree 
  • Lean certification
  • Previous leadership experience
