This is a key role within the Kitchen Retail and Contracts Channel, accountable for the results and growth of selected national and regional housebuilder and contracts accounts. This role requires a person who is able to demonstrate strong sales skills, strategic thinking and able to work collaboratively within a challenging environment to ensure that the business objectives of Electrolux are met. Responsible for selected national housebuilders, KFMs and project work, the role involves setting the strategic direction for these key trade partners.

The successful candidate is required to develop and execute the strategy within the contracts channel, in accordance with the overall business strategy.  In this role you will work closely with the Channel manager - contracts, Marketing managers, and product managers for the cluster to ensure an aligned market approach.  

• Maintaining and developing long term customer relationships
• Leading management of key accounts including negotiating and securing regional agreements
• Responsible for the identification, acquisition and growth of suitable regional housebuilders within a defined geographical territory
• Ensure accurate records are made and maintained using CRM Planning activity for the week and each day to maximise effective call time and achieve activity KPI’s
• Apply the principles of consultative selling to ensure we take a customer-centric approach to sales, with regular and meaningful telephone and email contact and face to face meetings. 
• Meet and exceed business KPIs including customer acquisition, revenue and profitability goals. 
• Acting as an ambassador for Electrolux and ensuring a feedback loop is created back into the business to help shape the future of our channel and its strategy
• Take full ownership and accountability for sales territory and ensure optimum levels of customer service
• Prepare sales development programmes, which are fully evaluated and agreed, thus maximising profitability. 
• Building strong industry networks to understand fully customer and competitor activity and to inform channel strategy as appropriate.
• Build strong internal relationships to drive sales, profitability and brand awareness activity
• Being available as an escalation point for senior management team within key partners


• Exceptional account management and business development experience
• Business acumen and advanced business analysis and numerical interpretation
• Excellent negotiation with all stakeholders, including senior UK and European counterparts
• Highly numerate, strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
• Able to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of sales within the UK housebuilding industry is preferred 
• First class verbal, listening and written communications skills, with strong and confident presentation skills. 
• Excellent organisational skills and territory management with proven ability to organise own schedule and prioritise effectively
• Tenacious approach with a positive mind-set and a self-starter with a can do attitude
