Cooking Science Lab Leader – Forlí, Italy

As CSL Lab Leader you will ensure development and testing of key performance and cooking functionality according international and internal performance and consumer standards. 

Provide continuous fact based improvement proposals to relevant stakeholder like Development platforms, Project leaders, Product line, EGD, Product Care and Technologies to create Best in class consumer experiences.

You will:
• Define relevant specifications and ensure testing on:
- Consumer institute relevant requirements
- Performance and consumer relevant resting to internal/external standards, including preparation of relevant documentation
- Cooking & Cooking functions
- Energy consumption
- Feature & function performance
- Environmental impact
- Materials
- Accessories 
• Ensure benchmark testing and follow competitors analysis, market development in domestics appliances.
• Investigate and follow food trends. 
• Provide improvement proposals to categories and Product Care.
• Ensure alignment on test methodologies with other Labs in Global R&D Cooking.
• Coordination and planning of relevant resources for all PDP& PD project related activities
• Ensure proper maintenance of testing equipment according to ISO9001
• Ensure compliance with work environment and safety regulations
• Support Categories, Product Care and Technologies in relevant testing
• Participation in technical committees for standards

- Test institute ratings
- Ensure alignment on test methodologies with external consumer association relevant partners
- To track and support national/ international standard updating and creation, ensure to have the test capability according to the update/new standards, and suggest R & D Product Care team if the product design to be changed in compliance with the new/updated standards.

• Testing methodologies (DOE, 6Sigma, statistical methodologies)
• Deep Product and approval process knowledge
• Deep knowledge of relevant standards
• IQ & EMS deep understanding; ISO9001 knowledge
• Knowledge in HACCP and food safety requirements
• Best practice Food preparation and cooking know-how
• Fluent English &Italian , German is a plus.
