Your Role

The candidate is responsible of leading and managing cost-out projects related to ODM & OEM Finished Goods in order to deliver annual savings that meet company objectives while improving products quality. Working with external suppliers and internal customers, the role is a critical bridge to support ongoing cost competitive OEM Product sourcing.
In addition to cost out activities, the candidate will support other finish goods sourcing related costing work.

A Typical Day

Follow Product Sourcing cost out process to execute cost out activities.
To maintain cost out master list with a pipeline of ideas sufficient to support our cost reduction targets, support the sourcing teams to meet their PCI/ECI/PQI targets when it comes to cost out actions which require specification changes.
To coordinate the execution of cost out actions between suppliers, Product Sourcing and internal customers, like R&D, quality, lab, certificate etc.
To communicate and work with suppliers and sourcing teams to collect cost out ideas from internal and suppliers
To manage and run supplier workshops, benchmarks and tear downs in order to feed the cost out master list.
To support costing teams in developing cost models
Review cost various of product spec change, make sure that Electrolux can get reasonable cost saving share.
Drive Sourcing team to provide the cost out details regarding pure negotiation, assess and make critical analysis of the cost reductions proposed by suppliers, supporting sourcing teams to negotiate the right cost reduction levels.
Drive to design to cost activities, analyze competitive products for cost saving opportunities, investigate alternative low cost materials and sources, alternative suppliers targeting cost savings and productivity improvements.

Who You Are

Major in Engineering disciplines, materials or related area
5+ years working experience in engineering, manufacturing combined with cost management, home appliance is a plus.
Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
Teamwork, Strong communication, interpersonal and business analysis skills are required.
Self-motivated and target oriented in financial results.
Travel in 20-40%
Proficient in speaking and writing English.
