Costing system Analyst
As a cost tool and system development leader, together with line manager to define the tool needs within the team, and develop tools with external resources to optimize the work process, standardize the template and tools, bring systematic solution for Product costing team.
Will work with cost system manager to analyze department needs, develop, maintenance, and optimize system tools. Including target costing, cost modeling, and cost value engineering tools.
Search vender and develop web-based tools to simulate and track the product cost within and after projects. Adding function modules into the current web tools, like part numbers, volumes, and bulk uploading tools, etc.
Understand the reporting need, help to implement and develop reports for multiple usage.
Prepare user manual and lead the training program.
Maintenance data reporting and system debug.
Research in cross system interaction and data exchange within costing tools and external.
Other tasks from line manager
At least 3 years’ experience in database system tool development and management, understand the web system tool development process. have experience in leading or participating in new system development since beginning.
Good communication skills and understand the teams needs and translate them into the system logic and User Interface.
Quick learner, and open for new challenge and changes.
Proficient in English reading and writing, good at speaking is a plus.
Cost model knowledge as a plus
