This role is directly responsible and accountable for performing in-depth credit analyses to identify, explain and mitigate risk for new and existing customers and suppliers. Work is performed under the direction of the Sr. Credit Manager and Sr. Director of Commercial Finance and Credit. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain and analyze appropriate credit information such as financial statements, trade references and external credit reports 
  • Interpret information and clearly summarize in a recommendation regarding the disposition of the credit request 
  • Support recommendations with sound business judgement and execute decisions according to Group Credit Policy and the local Delegation of Authority 
  • Proactive management of assigned accounts, including overall customer master, terms, credit lines, etc 
  • Maintain effective communication with Accounts Receivable teams regarding potential risk, order approvals, account changes, or other customer service related issues
  • Understand and contribute to the overall KPIs of Electrolux (Group, Sector, and local team) – NOWC, Profitability, Sales, and DSO
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the business

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in Credit Risk, Finance, and/or Accounting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial statement analysis, reviewing and interpreting financial data and reports
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
  • Good computer skills, preferably SAP, JD Edwards, or relative AS400 experience
  • Working knowledge of  MS Office, specifically Intermediate Excel experience
  • SQL experience preferred, not required
  • Detail-oriented approach to go beyond the surface of information to perform quality analysis
  • Process-oriented with an eye for continual process improvement, application of the knowledge, and timely execution
  • Ability to follow written procedures, policies and delegation of authority
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Provide effective customer service to internal and external customers
  • Business math and basic accounting knowledge
