A REGULAR DAY AT WORK (ESSENTIAL DUTIES):

The primary responsibility of the Training Instructional Designer is to develop and deliver training content for the Customer Engagement Center. This individual will utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as lectures, online simulations, and video-led instructions. They will also be responsible for evaluating and tracking learning application amongst new hires and adapting training methods as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
  • Synthesize product information into comprehensive and engaging training courses.
  • Provide support and guidance to class participants and Trainers for the duration of their training program.
  • Manage training program in accordance with business needs.
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product.
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and engage participants.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.
  • Devise modes of assessment measure the effectiveness of the course.
  • Maintain training documentation and course folders.

Minimum Qualification

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar relevant field.
  • Previous working experience in instructional design for 3+ years.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge.
  • Proficient in Articulate Storyline and working knowledge of the latest LMS systems and webinar platforms.
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
