This position is based in the Purchase Parts Warehouse (Cycle Counter) and Production Area (Scrap Counter) and does work between the warehouses and the production area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
A Cycle Counter is responsible for performing the cycle count activities as required by the Cycle Count Analyst and related procedures. Performs audits and checks to the cycle counting process to insure that accurate counts are performed.
A Scrap Counter is responsible for verifying the accuracy of scrap recorded by production areas and capturing data in Excel in order to report to finance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Cycle Counter - Follows the procedure as outlined in ISO MAWI-XXXX, and performs the cycle counting activities as directed by the Cycle Count Analyst. Obtains the required amount of cycle counts to be performed each shift. Maintains acceptable levels of cycle counting accuracy. Works with Warehouse, Purchasing, Finance and Planning personnel to improve process efficiencies and inventory accuracy. Assists in the audits to confirm cycle counting accuracy. Communicates all issues discovered promptly to the Cycle Count Analyst. Unload and count trailer content as well as offsite locations as needed.
Inventory Auditor-Responsible for performing the cycle count activities as directed by the cycle count analyst or cycle count Unit Leader and related procedures. Responsible for accurate counts of all inventory in all locations including off site locations. Position is based at Purchase Parts Warehouse.
High school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English
Have working knowledge of part types and locations of the various parts.
Have working knowledge of required processes.
Valid forklift license or ability to obtain within 60 days
Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand up to twelve (12) hours at a time.
Computer literacy required.
JDE & Excel, Scanner experience preferred.
