As a member of the North America IT Business Intelligence Team, you will be instrumental in scaling, storing, processing, and migrating data assets to Electrolux’s Enterprise Data Platform. You will collaborate with the Global Data Science and Global BI COE teams as we execute our Global Data Strategy and transform Electrolux into a fundamentally data-driven company.

  • Understand, advocate, and support the Electrolux NA business and IT strategies, promoting best practices, standards, and leveraging system platform potential.
  • Design and build Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions on Azure using batch and streaming data pipelines.
  • Develop and implement data engineering best practices while balancing availability, throughput, quality and cost constraints.
  • Deliver high quality processes, functionalities and tools to improve data analytics solution capabilities. Proof of Concepts, prototypes and production.
  • Evangelize modern data engineering approaches and best practices-based software development.
  • Design and implement DevOps techniques including code repositories, build and deployment.
  • Automate where appropriate to gain efficiencies.
  • Understand and fully leverage the data warehouse and data assets to drive decisions and insights for the organization.
  • Mentor fellow BI resources on data engineering techniques and best practices.

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or equivalent).
  • 3 years hands-on experience in Azure or AWS.
  • Advances SQL, ELT, data engineering skills.
  • Solid command of one or more of: Python/Pyspark (preferred) or Scala.
  • Deep understanding of data structures and database technologies.
  • Experience developing streaming and batch data pipelines for both Cloud and Hybrid infrastructures.
  • Experience with Azure (or AWS equivalent) Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks.
  • Experience with streaming data technology Azure Stream Analytics, Event hubs, Spark Streaming, etc.
  • Experience with good software engineering practices: have working experience with modern tools such as Azure DevOps, Github, Jira, Jenkins and other build automation tools.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner, technology agnostic, pragmatic, strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in Cloud solution design.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with remote teams.
  • Ability to teach others.
