Challenge the way we do engineering. For the better.

For us going to work everyday has an even greater purpose than putting the latest product or technology on the market. It’s about improving the everyday lives of millions. By staying humble and open for new ideas – we can push the boundaries for cooking, cleaning and wellbeing at home. But to keep doing so, we need more people who want to innovate and re-imagine what life at home can be.

We are a strong team of highly skilled engineers who work on most innovative built-in architecture solutions. Due to the successful growth of the business, we are looking for an engineer passionate about technical design, who would challenge the way we do engineering and develop complete appliances using cutting edge technology.
Join us in our ambition to redesign the future of refrigeration!
Embrace the diverse international team. Gain exposure to the lab world. Travel internationally… and revolutionize the way we do things!

You will be responsible for:

• Mechanical component design and development
• Creating and validating new mechanical components/system taking care of its design and development (technical specification, functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, …)
• Designing creation and release of mechanical components/systems within the time frame, cost target, quality level, process constraints…
• Robust design tools using (CAD, CAE, DFMA, tolerances analysis, … )
• Analysis of technical solutions with suppliers, factory, and other involved functions
• Understand, change and create component / system design specifications / requirement / guideline.
• Identify and support standardization by ensuring that new development fit into the platform and subsystem structure
• Part and product approval: understand technical tests results to take a decision on design development and final approval for series production
• Define and implement new mechanical features and functionality design
• Reports in Check Point meetings/steering team meetings

• Relationship builder. Create strong relationships with all functions in the organization in order to enhance delivery of global targets.
• Independent. You can take responsibility and get things done.

Technical skills:
• Strong knowledge of mechanical component and system development and design
• Strong structured and engineering approach during each development phase
• Strong CAE knowledge (mainly FEM structural), finite element analysis; simulation via the cad model. Fluid dynamic, dynamics, metal forming, molding, thermal analysis is a plus.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and test results evaluation
• Strong knowledge of 3D design tool (CATIA is preferred)
• Experience as a technical leader in mechanics environments
• Knowledge of the main manufacturing processes (metal forming, molding)
