BACKGROUND

We are looking for a Marketplace Ecommerce Leader who will join our APAC & MEA regional team on an exciting Ecommerce journey of consumer-led purpose driven growth. You will be armed with the responsibility of ensuring the Electrolux Brands, Range and Purpose stands out from the competition commercially in the digital space and delivers the Ecommerce growth ambition.

We aim to bring to life our purpose of ’Shape living for the better’ through Ecommerce delivering great experiences pre, at and post purchase with a future fit and digital first team and sustainable business model.
The team is responsible for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business through Electrolux.com in 8 countries (& growing), E-commerce marketplace partners (Amazon, Lazada, Shopee JD.com & more) and Reseller Ecommerce platforms. D2C & Ecommerce is a pivotal growth engine delivering the APMEA Commercial ambition.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are an ecommerce P&L owner specializing in driving Marketplace (Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, Tiki, JD.com, etc) Ecommerce growth in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA). A team is being setup in Singapore (regional HQ) and in markets across APMEA region and this team will expand as the business grows. You will be part of the HQ team in Singapore and require prior experience in the following areas of responsibility, you will work closely with the market ecommerce teams:

Ecommerce Partnerships

  • Owns the Regional Marketplace Ecommerce Key Account partnerships (i.e. Lazada, Shopee, Amazon etc.) Builds regional Joint-Business-Plans (JBP) with key accounts
  • Owns aggregated P&L of regional accounts. Has experience managing Key Accounts and negotiation of partnership terms and growth
  • Sets regional growth targets and allocate targets by markets (building blocks). Defines leading & lagging KPIs in partnership with market ecommerce managers.
  • You have experience in negotiating & securing Ecommerce Events packages on Shopee, Lazada etc.

Ecommerce Governance

  • Drives the weekly Ecommerce governance with markets for marketplace ecommerce execution excellence and KPI delivery
  • Tracking and Analytics. You will partner and guide the analytics team on both the quantitative and qualitative analytics data collection and analysis to understand consumer behavior & performance optimization.

Ecommerce Strategy & Campaigns

  • Develops Marketplace Channel Strategy and regional campaigns for regional marketplace accounts and cascades to local ecommerce teams for execution. Develops channel value proposition and activation plan for growth.
  • Acquisition, Conversion, Loyalty strategy and analytics to optimize for growth
    - You will partner with the Digital Marketing team to define the acquisition strategy generating relevant, targeted traffic to the marketplace Ecommerce sites.
    - Defines Conversion strategy and action plan for high conversion on Ecommerce sites
    - Guides on loyalty programs
  • Manages Channel conflict with other sales channels
  • Marketplace Portfolio strategy and price architecture

Execution Excellence

  • Partners with the market ecommerce managers to execute strategy on marketplace sites.
  • Partners with content marketing team to develop the relevant content for excellent ecommerce PDP pages for high conversion rates.
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce Supply chain, logistics & operations. Partners with Ecommerce Operations Lead to ensure the last mile delivery model & therefore customer experience is best in class in-markets

Center of Excellence

  • Operates as the region’s Centre-of-Excellence building market Ecommerce manager capability in strategy planning and ecommerce sales account management for both marketplace & resellers. Scales Best practices.

Minimum Qualification

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA in Business or related field 
  • Over 6 years of experience managing Ecommerce marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, Tiki, Tokopedia) across multiple countries
  • Experience growing whitespace ecommerce businesses in corporates or in marketplaces
  • Track record of driving commercial growth in multiple countries in the APAC, MEA region with focus on sales, CVR, shopper NPS and profitability
  • Comprehensive understanding of all ecommerce trading levers with ability to interpret the insights and agility to drive commercial growth
  • Demonstrated leadership and can handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
  • Ability to lead in pressure situations and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to and engaging stakeholders at all levels navigating context & change
  • Results oriented with a focus on quality, efficiency and operational excellence, attitude of continuous improvement
  • Shopper-centric and data driven decision making
  • Self-starter and highly motivated and organized
  • Problem solving with a "roll-up-your-sleeves", "get it done" mentality
  • Hands-on results-oriented attitude with a strong bias for action; proven track record of “getting things done” with end-to-end thinking under pressure.
  • Excellent collaboration and organization skills with strong adaptability – able to set priorities and problem solve to meet deadlines in a complex and changing environment.
