Responsible for supporting the development, construction, and maintenance of test equipment according to the product requirement as well as providing the support to the Quality system compliance during the manufacturing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and prepare budget and cost estimates for equipment, construction, and installation projects, and control expenditures.
  • Design electronic equipment and software, aligned with the test requirements of the product.
  • Provide technical support and instruction to staff regarding equipment standards, and help solve specific issues related to the test equipment
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Analyze system requirements, capacity, cost, and manufacturing/product needs to determine feasibility of project and develop plan.
  • Determine material and equipment needs and order supplies.
  • Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, products, and systems to ensure conformance to specifications and safety standards.
  • Evaluate operational systems, prototypes, and proposals and recommend repair or design modifications based on factors such as environment, service, cost, and system capabilities.
  • Prepare documentation containing information such as schematics, FMEA’s, Maintenance Plan, Spare Parts and Operation Manual to meet Factory Requirements.
  • Direct and coordinate activities concerned with manufacture, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, and modification of electronic equipment.
  • Develop and perform operational, maintenance, and testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, and systems.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain maintenance schedules, design documentation and operational reports and charts.
  • Prepare necessary criteria, procedures, reports, and plans for successful conduct of the program/project with consideration given to site preparation, facility validation, installation, quality assurance and testing.
  • Active participation on area Quality System implementation.
  • Deploy and monitor Statistical tools and Methods for process control.
  • Participate actively as a team member of EMS projects and implementations initiatives. 
  • Participate on the multidisciplinary team for Corrective and Preventive Actions implementations to continuously reduce Service Call rate index
  • Lead projects on Key Business drivers and cost reduction Programs 
  • Lead Quality Improvement teams based on FTQ, RTY and Scrap results
  • Ensure Customer inputs are addressed through Corrective Actions and Continuous improvement efforts
  • Responsible to apply all the requirements related to EMS, ISO9000/14000 according to the position.
  • Among responsibilities the following environmental information is included, designated but not limited to:
    • Knowledge and comprehension of the plant’s environmental policy, including the established environmental goals, knowing and identifying the environmental aspects and impacts on the area or process to perform, focusing on continuous improvement and keeping operational goals, identifying and segregating chemical residues and materials.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical Engineering
  • 3 years minimum experience in quality areas or Manufacturing - Preferable Refrigeration Experience
  • Significant experience in cross-functional manufacturing processes and thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles. 
  • Basic ISO-9001 training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Test equipment development
  • Budget Administration 
  • Computer literature such as Word, excel, powerpoint, desirable Minitab user.
  • Required to communicate with his/her team and BUL to review Key metrics performance and other important issues.
