EMS Change Agent (Anderson Plant, 1st Shift)
The EMS Change Agent is responsible for managing Electrolux Manufacturing System internally fostering a culture of EMS continuous improvement in all activities using EMS methodology. The responsibilities include leading EMS methods and tools in the factory to be safer, cleaner, more organized and effective both in all areas connected to manufacturing (logistics, material flow, and quality, production, people and office staff.) This role is designed to be a 3 year rotational role and then the Change Agent will seek other opportunities to continue their development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Trains and supports all factory Team Members, Managers and Supervisors in using EMS tools and encourages the implementation of best practices
Analyzes and assesses the manufacturing processes making corrective actions when necessary
Leading and initializing improvement projects/activities on the efficiency, cost, quality, and safety
Develop and update job detail sheets and procedures, if required
Coach, mentor and train Team Members on acquiring and sustaining EMS certificates
Green Gear certification required
10 plus years of manufacturing experience
Previous leadership experience is required
Blue Gear certification
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone. The employee frequently is required to drive, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
