Manage Finance team, including 7 people, covering the following areas.
Conduct financial analysis, develop and prepare Electrolux' financial plans and budgets, advise management on financial affairs and assist in long term planning.
Perform economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments. Analyse P&L income statements and prepare reports and recommendations to management.
Generate forecasts and analyse trends in sales, finance and other areas of the business. Research economic progressions to assist Electrolux' financial planning. Create financial models of 'what if' scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.
Establish and maintain accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, prepare financial reports and safeguard Electrolux' assets, maintain accounting & financial records and reports including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.
Develop, implement and maintain Electrolux' financial plans and policies, establish fiscal controls, prepare financial reports, maintain relations with investment and banking communities.
Credit & Collections
Minimise financial risk to Electrolux by assessing and advising on credit worthiness of prospective of existing customers, negotiate and advice on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate actions to recover overdue payments.
Perform treasury operations involving cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management. Provide analytical and technical to treasury related activities.
Tax Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and maintain tax records, return reports and other related materials, participate in the development and implementation of tax strategy, devise legal means to minimise tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Recommend alternative tax treatments to alleviate or reduce tax burden.
Develop, recommend controls and cost effective approaches to minimise Electrolux' risk effects, identify and analyse potential sources of loss to minimise risk and estimate the potential financial consequence of an occurring loss.
Lead & develop finance team, address/evaluate competencies gap, provide support, supervise, coaching, training and guidance to the team.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENT NEEDED
1.Completion of university degree in finance or accounting is required.
2.Preferably CPA or with masters degree or units
3.At least 5 years in a similar position (Finance Director position with a multinational corporation, having local distribution operation, with sales revenue from USD50M and up)
