Your Role

 

You will be working within a team of Finance professionals ensuring our Financial Reporting requirements are accurately maintained and delivered to the highest audit quality and within an agreed timeframe. 

 

A Typical Day

 

Your role is broad and varied and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Take ownership of the Chart of Accounts ensuring consistency of interpretation and application across the organisation.

  • Drive standardisation of general ledger across Sales and Manufacturing reporting units.

  • Track and manage balance sheet reconciliations completed in an informative, accurate and timely manner for Sales Org. Ensure reconciliation items are actioned on a timely basis.

  • Issue monthly accounts closure timetable ensuring clarity of deliverables by whom and by when.

  • Ensure AARO (Group reporting) is completed on time and error free.

  • Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure adherence with the Electrolux Accounting Manual and local authorities for all divisions.

  • Actively work with the various divisions of the business ensuring their financial accounting and reporting requirements are attended to.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the company’s ECS internal control environment

  • Drive process improvements by identify and facilitating the automation of present excel based reporting

  • Provide leadership in the hard close and year end external audits.

  • Assist the Tax & Treasury team with Tax, Treasury and Insurance related process and projects as requested

  • Work cooperatively with Shared Services Centre located offshore

  • Assist with ad hoc projects
