Electrolux North America, Inc., a $5 billion manufacturing and sales subsidiary of AB Electrolux, is seeking a Business Analyst II for Electrolux Major Appliances. The Business Analyst II position has overall responsibility and accountability for working with Business Partners to help understand and communicate the financial position of their area of responsibility.  The role is also responsible for creating and maintaining periodic reports that analyze and communicate actual performance and the implications of ongoing business decisions as well as forecasting future performance.  The Business Analyst II position will report in through the Commercial Finance group but take day-to-day direction from both Finance and the assigned Sales Leader(s) and will funnel information from the finance organization to the Sales Leader(s), ensuring one consistent approach/method is used across the Sector.


  • Provide monthly and ad hoc variance analysis to forecast, budget, and prior year
  • Conduct in depth customer profitability analysis for strategic multi-customer channel
  • Prepare, interpret, and explain forward looking sales and profit forecasts
  • Preparation and interpretation of timely and accurate financial reports to management, such as Volume-Price-Mix analysis and Pricing Waterfalls
  • Interpretation and communication of financial performance, implications, recommendations
  • Month end closing responsibility including rebate accruals and account reconciliations
  • Profitability analysis of specific products and programs
  • Various ad hoc analysis
  • Assist as needed with Internal and External Audits

Minimum Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance related field


  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial concepts
  • Ability to work in Excel with complex formulas (IF statements, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Unquestionable business ethics and integrity
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated / Driven / Proactive approach to business needs
  • Effective communicator with proven success at all levels of business communication
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is motivated, flexible and works well in a team and multi-functional environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and timelines and adjust project and tasks accordingly
  • Builds trust and follows through on commitments and deadlines
  • SAP knowledge a plus
  • Experience supporting a sales function a plus

  • Sales trend analysis
  • Variance analysis
  • Price/Volume/Mix analysis
