Within the Global Purchasing Organization, Global IM Purchasing has the key responsibility of awarding new IM businesses, in close collaboration with the Global functions. Our mission is to ensure the award of businesses to the best-fit suppliers, in line with the function’s strategy and from a TCO perspective, fulfilling the targets of cost, quality and flexibility.

The role:
Operating across the organization you shall support the global functions (HR, Finance, R&D, Design ..), with purchasing expertise when it comes to the sourcing of external Professional Services. This includes co-developing and deploying strategies and sourcing solutions aligned with both the function’s, global purchasing direction and the Business Area Category Managers.

To maximise the added value from your support, you will apply Electrolux’s Value based Sourcing Principles. Together with your key-stakeholders, you will also co-develop Supplier Strategies, define and manage the Supplier Relationship. You will regularly report your financial results in order to meet the set targets. You will also support with knowledge sharing within the global Professional Services community.

As a Global Category Buyer you will:
•Own and manage a set of global sub-categories within the category of Professional Services with the objective to support your stakeholders with value-based sourcing activities
•Perform strategic sourcing and other activities, including:
•Data research, analysis
•Identifying best sourcing solution fit for purpose
•Running RFQs and potential contract improvement opportunities supported through the Ariba sourcing tool
•Performing supplier negotiations and gaining supplier approval in Global sourcing board
•Develop and retain strong supplier relationships
•Build and deploy category strategies that aligns with requirements of the business
•Support the development of annual budgets
•Generate commercial initiatives and projects to deliver on agreed targets                               

Open. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain good cross-functional working relationships on a global level and at all levels. Proven track record in stakeholder management and well developed influencing skills.
Results orientated mindset: You have strong business acumen with the capability to analyze factors such as position of leverage, key cost drivers, value development and risk.
Organized: You have strong organizational skills with the ability to meet goals and deliver results effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proactive. You are a ‘doer’ who makes it happen with energy and integrity. You are not just solving the tasks you are given, you always think ahead.

•University degree (Engineer or Business).
•2-5 years of relevant experience from strategic sourcing, preferable within the area of Indirect Material
•Solid understanding of the strategic sourcing methodology and application of indirect material is beneficial
•Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
•Previous experience with Ariba is a plus
•Fluent in English, any other language is an asset.

Travel: please consider that being a global role, International travel may be required (up to 10%).
